Centre for the Advancement of Social Sciences Research (CASR) was commissioned by the Sha Tin District Council (Working Group on Land Development in Sha Tin District) to conduct a research project on Land Development in Sha Tin District. The study has selected Ma Liu Shui Public Transport Interchange and a government land adjacent to the Interchange as the research target. The face-to-face interview was conducted to collect the opinion and the ideas of more than 1,000 Ma On Shan residents on the future land use development of the selected lands. The study also provides the suggestions of the Public Transport Interchange in terms of the design, size, land use development as well as transport planning.
