Greenpeace Telephone Survey on "Public Opinion Survey on Microbeads in Care Products" (July 7, 2016)

Greenpeace commissioned Centre for the Advancement of Social Sciences Research to conduct a Survey on "Public Opinion Survey on Microbeads in Care Products".
The Survey was conducted by telephone interviews targeting Hong Kong citizens aged 18 to 65.
The Survey period covered from 25 April to 12 May 2016 and 804 respondents were successfully interviews.
It revealed that more than half of the respondents used scrub products or products containing microbeads. About 80% of the respondents did not recognize microbeads inside cleanser
were microplastic. 80% of the respondents reflected that they could not understand the product label to distinguish whether there were microbeads inside the product.
